Resynchronizing your Google location
In this guide, we're going to walk you through the process of resynchronizing your Google location on Goodreviews, should you ever need to.
Before anything else, let's make sure you've granted our email, email@example.com, the necessary permissions on your Google Business Profile. If you haven't done this yet, follow these simple steps.
Sign into your account and go to the 'Account' settings, located at the top right corner of the page.
From the dropdown menu, select "Profile".
Click on the "change" button to modify permissions.
Now, we'll need to reaffirm the access for Google's API. To do this:
Identify the email address that has owner privileges for your Google Business Profile and click on it. If you're unsure which email is linked to these permissions, we have a handy article here that can help.
After selecting the correct email, click on 'Continue'.
Following these steps, Goodreviews will establish a connection with Google, and then you'll be redirected to your dashboard.
To confirm the successful synchronization of your location, please follow these steps:
Click on 'Account' found at the top right-hand corner of your screen.
Select 'Location' from the dropdown menu.
You will be directed to a page where all locations accessible to Goodreviews are displayed. Check here to see if your location is listed.
