Adding a Goodreviews Widget to Your Squarespace Website with a Personal Plan

To integrate a Goodreviews widget into your Squarespace website on a Personal plan, you will need the installation code for the widget. For guidance on obtaining this, please refer to our support resources.

Adding Your Inline Widget to a Specific Page

1. Go to Squarespace Admin Panel

   • Log into your Squarespace account and select the site where you wish to add the widget.

2. Open Your Page Settings

   • Navigate to the Website section in the left side menu and click "Edit".

3. Add Section for the Block

   • Identify the desired location for your widget and click "Add Section".

   • Select "Add a Blank Section" from the popup window.

4. Add Block for the Installation Code

   • Press "Add Block" and select the "Markdown" option.

5. Paste the Installation Code

   • Click on the Edit icon and paste the Goodreviews installation code in the Content popup.

   • The widget may not appear immediately. If so, save your changes and then edit again to see the widget.

6. Adjust the Block's Size

   • Modify the block's width by dragging the widget's border to adjust as necessary.

Congratulations! You've added the widget to a specific page.

Adding Your Floating Widget to a Specific Page

1. Repeat Steps 1-2 as Above

2. Add the Block

   • At the end of the page, hover over the block area, click on any Plus sign, and choose the "Markdown" option.

3. Paste the Installation Code

   • Enter the installation code in the window that pops up and save the changes once the widget appears on the page.

Done!

Adding Your Floating Widget to a Specific Page Using Add Section

1. Repeat Steps 1-3 as Above

2. Add Block for the Installation Code

   • Press "Add Block" and select the "Markdown" option.

3. Paste the Installation Code

   • Click on the Edit icon and paste the Goodreviews installation code in the Content popup.

Adding Your Floating Widget to All Pages of Your Website

1. Go to Squarespace Admin Panel

   • Log into your Squarespace account and choose the website where you'd like to add the widget.

2. Open Your Website Dashboard

   • Navigate to your website dashboard and click on "Edit".

3. Add the Block

   • Navigate to the footer of the page, hover over it, click "Edit Footer", then click on any Plus sign and choose "Markdown".

4. Paste the Installation Code

   • Add the installation code to the window that pops up and save the changes.

The widget will appear on all pages where the footer is enabled. For pages without a footer, you will need to add the widget separately.

That's it! You have successfully added a floating widget to all pages of your Squarespace website on a Personal plan.
