Install GoodReviews' Xero Integration

With this integration, you’ll be able to automatically send review invitations whenever you send an invoice or add a new contact in Xero. This means you can effortlessly collect Google reviews and enhance your online presence without any extra work.

In this guide, we will cover how to integrate your Xero account with Goodreviews and select how and when you'd like us to send review invitations.

Step 1: Navigate to the Integrations Page

  • Log in to your GoodReviews account.

  • Go to the "Account" section and select "Integrations" from the menu.

  • Find the Xero integration option and click on "Connect."

Step 2: Authorize the Connection

  • You will be redirected to the Xero login page. Enter your Xero credentials and log in.

  • Authorize Goodreviews to access your Xero account by clicking "Allow Access."

Step 3: Select Your Organization

  • After authorizing access to your Xero account, you will need to select the organization you wish to collect reviews from. Use the dropdown menu to choose the appropriate organization.

  • Once you have selected the organization, click "Save and Close" to confirm your selection.

Step 4: Configure Invitation Settings

  • Choose how you would like to send your review invitations:

    • New Contact Added: When a new contact is added to your account, a review invitation is sent. This is perfect for maintaining engagement and gathering feedback from new clients right from the start.

    • Invoice Sent: When you issue an invoice, a review invitation is sent. This option is ideal for businesses operating on a billing system. We recommend it for professionals and service providers such as accountants, consultants, and contractors to ensure invitations are sent immediately after an invoice is issued, capturing customer satisfaction at its peak.

All automations are sent through our review rest period.

If you would like to delay when we send out the review invitation, you can do so by updating your settings under "When would you like to send your invoice".

You can select the time at which we will automatically send review invitations on your behalf in your core review settings.

To maximize the likelihood that your customers will leave a positive review, we recommend selecting a time when they are most likely to be satisfied with your product or service.
